ESTA meets MNU heads over Salaahudheen building safety concerns



Due to concerns in salaahudheen building’s safety issues, ESTA executive committee members, FEST students and MNU council members had met to share concerns and to find a quick resolution.

 

During the meeting

 

The meeting, which was held on the 14th of march 2018 in MNU A block in the conference room was set by the MNUSU President Arushad Ashraf in order to provide a quick resolution to the student’s concerns. Participants of the meeting include ESTA President Hussain Mohamed, VP Activities Qismath Qasim and Media Coordinator Ibrahim Ghanim Shahid and FEST architecture students, civil engineering students, MNU vice chancellor Dr. Fawaz and Deputy Vice Chancellor Miss Shaaheen.

 

During the meeting

 

In the meeting, discussions were about the current status of the building and future measures that could be taken to ensure the safety of the students. Furthermore, Vice Chancellor Dr. Fawaz had assured the students that all measures to ensure the students safety would be taken and that MNU has a very long term plan to building a larger building to fully cater for FEST.
