The Maldives National University Students’ Union meets with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home affairs.



The Maldives National University Students’ Union meets with the Ministry of Home affairs permanent secretary to discuss about a MOU between the two parties.

The meeting was held in the conference room of Ministry of Home affairs. The permanent secretary of Ministry of Home affairs Mr. Ibrahim Hameed and the senior executive director Mr. Arushadh Ashraf took part in the meeting from the ministry. The president of MNUSU Mohamed Shaan Amir, VP of wings Ali Shamoon and secretary Anaa Ahmed and the media coordinator Aiminath Shama Mohamed including a few more members from the wings took part in this meeting.

In this meeting the PS of Home Ministry highlighted the importance and the participation that MNUSU has been taking in the events carried out by the ministry. Furthermore, the union asked to have internship opportunities for the students and discussed about having training sessions in partnership with the union about social problems.

The MNUSU’s president Mohamed Shaan Amir assured the full support from the union in future activities carried out by the Home Ministry.
